The BACP website is a useful resource for all counselling matters, including details of the standard of professional training and continuing professional development required for a counsellor or psychotherapist to achieve BACP Accredited status.

Look for the About Therapy link for more about counselling and what to expect from the process while Find A Therapist offers a searchable database of counsellors and psychotherapists, including qualifications and fees. 

COSRT The College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists 

(COSRT) is the national specialist organisation for sexual and relationship therapy. 
 
As with BACP, Accredited status is open to therapists with the highest levels of training and experience and the COSRT website is easy to navigate, full of useful information and featuring an easy to use database of therapists, their qualifications and contact information. 

EMDR

The EMDR UK website is home to the professional Association of clinicians and researchers practicing Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) in the United Kingdom.
